| Serenading each other |
July started with
a great little event at St Mary’s School in Maidenhead. Glorious weather,
combined with a hilarious post-event barbecue made this a memorable day!
Later in the
month several members and their better halves went on the first (of no doubt
many) summer social outings – canoeing up the River Severn. Much hijinks ensued
as each couple tried their best to sabotage the progress of the others and
eventually returned home tired and sunburnt!

We also appeared at MacFest, an annual festival of music and dance to raise funds for two residential MacIntyre schools which provide intensive living support and education to young people and adults with moderate to severe learning and physical disabilities.
